Not too much this past week or so in the Poe home.  Kaleb got pretty sick Sunday night- it was the worst throw up I have ever dealt with...Holy Cow!!!!!  We have been to a couple movies and just stayed busy with normal life.

We watched our friends boys one night, here they are watching Madagascar- look at the two little ones on the sides, totally zoned out!!!

Multnomah Falls

We went Multnomah Falls today, we wanted to hike to the top but there was a sheet of ice on the trail so we were only able to go to the first bridge.  Multnomah Falls is the second tallest waterfall in the nation, it is 620 feet high- Wow!!!  Even though we didn't get to do what we planned, it was still fun just to get out and see this beautiful sight.

T-Ball Time

Yes, Kaleb is old enough to do T-Ball this year!  He is so excited and loving it- we have only had two practices so far.  Jason is the assistant coach and is pretty excited to be there with Kaleb.  He is a huge Baseball fan and wants to have our boys love it just as much.  It was so funny watching Kaleb and his team at practice, they were all over the place running to the wrong bases and everything- the first game should be fun!!

Happy Birthday Kaleb

We had a party for Kaleb on Sunday,  he wanted a dinosaur theme and chocolate cake- easy enough!!  I can't believe my little boy is 5 now!  We had a good time and fun with family and friends!

This is my Birthday party, 29!!  Not 30 yet, something I like to remind Jason of all the time- He will be 30 in June!!  

New Puppy

We did it, we got a puppy!!!  Her name is Kya and she is a red toy poodle.  I saw her at the mall on New Years Eve Day and came home with her.  I called Jas at work to tell him about her, actually it was to tell him that I held a toy poodle, ( his favorite), and that he should be proud of me.  You should know that I have always been a big dog kind of person and have never cared for little dogs- no offense to those of you that have small dogs!  Jason was thrilled and told me that he wouldn't care if he got home and there was a puppy there!!!  I was shocked and actually started considering it, what was I thinking, I detested little dogs.  Well, I went back, saw her again and with some persuasion from Kaleb- who had decided that she was already our dog and was yelling "there going to take my dog"at anyone that even looked in the window at the dogs- yes, I bought her.  She was so adorable, I couldn't resist.  She is perfect for our family and we love her.  I am so glad that I went back and bought her.  The boys are having a blast with her and we know we made the right choice, she couldn't be more perfect for us. 

Christmas

Christmas was so nice this year, we were home and spent it with my family this year.  We start with a lasagna dinner Christmas Eve followed by a little "talent" show, Dad reading the story of Jesus and Mom reading "The Night Before Christmas."  Christmas was filled with presents, a big breakfast at my families house,  a nice nap and  dinner again at my parents!  We missed Brandon who is in Brazil on his mission, but we did get to talk to him which was amazing!  We also missed Jordan, my other brother because he had to work.  But, it was still great, relaxing and so much fun, especially to just spend time with the fam!!!  

Yes, we got more snow on Christmas day, it was crazy!!!

Snow fun

We came home to a ton of snow, it was such a blast to play in.  Yes, Washington does get snow at times, and it is beautiful!!!  Here are some fun pics of us playing-

The Market

    Every year, the saturday before Christmas, we meet Jason's family at the Pike Place Market in Seattle.  This year it took 6 hours to get there, thanks to the weather, but we made it!  It has been a tradition in Jason's family for almost 50 years, and it is something that we look forward to every year.  We meet in the morning, get some food and hot chocolate, shop a little and meet at the Center house to warm up, get some snacks and see the train!  Then we head over to the Allen's,( this year it was at the Sant's because of the weather), for a family gift exchange.  It is so much fun and so nice to be able to see everyone.  If we all look cold, it's because we were, it was freeeeeeezing!!!!

We got to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Woodward this year, it was so much fun and the boys loved spending time with great Grandma and Grandpa- so cute!!
