Crazy Kid

Here's Jaren and Jas playing.  It's really funny...  It kinda sounds bad, like Jaren hits his head hard the first time Jason gets him, but he wasn't hurt and really was having a good time.  They do this all the time- Jaren over exaggerates a bit,  crazy boy!!

These are just some funny pictures from Kaleb's last game.  He was having a great time, not really paying attention, but what can you expect from a five year old!  I also have some pics of the boys new hair cuts from this last week.

This is what he was doing out in the field during the game!
Yeah, nice!!

Cheese ball!!!

Garden Time

We are finally getting ready to plant our first garden.  We have never done this before, so I hope it goes well.  Jason made two huge 12x6 raised boxes in the yard.  He did a great job and we are excited to get started!  The weather was perfect and the boys had a great time helping.

The boys like to pick the dandy lions and throw them through the fence.  They are such big helpers!
Jason and I moved the boxes from the garage to the back.  Holy cow, they were so heavy!!

Little Blessings

Sometimes the littlest things remind you of how blessed you are.  Those of you that know me, know that I am a bit of a perfectionist, to say the least.  As I was picking up around the house, I found that my room, which I had just finished cleaning, had a few toys on the floor already.  You know how it is... you clean one room only to turn around and find that toys are all over again.  Normally I sigh and clean it up, again, thinking that I will never get the house "perfect."  Well, as I was standing there, I was reminded of President Monson's talk in the October General Conference.  He talked about how we should live for and enjoy the present time and one day those little fingerprints all over the house will be missed.  I thought about that and realized that he was right.  One day my sweet boys will be all gone and I won't be cleaning up after them every day.  Instead, I will be missing them so much and missing these days when there were little and home with me.  It made me feel so blessed to have these two beautiful boys and to be a wife and a mother.  They are already growing up so fast and I know it will go even faster as the years pass.  I love these sweet spirits that Jason and I have been blessed with and so glad that I have such a wonderful husband to raise them with.  I just need to remember, on those days when I feel overwhelmed, like I will never get things clean, that one day  those little ones will be gone and I will miss them so much, even the messes, so go with it and enjoy!!

If you look up and to the left of the sword, you might be able to see some nerf darts as well.
Look at these cute boys, what more could you ask for.

Easter

We had a really nice Easter.  It consisted of a lot of candy that the boys really didn't need, of course, but what are you going to do?  We also went to church, which was great and a nice way to remind us of what Easter is really about.  Then we just relaxed, had a great ham dinner and watched Bolt, the movie the Easter Bunny brought for the boys.  We were also able to go to an amazing Easter event, The Life of Christ, at our Stake Center the night before.  It was done last year as well, and we wanted to enjoy it again this year.  I actually sang this year and it was a great experience and one that I am glad I did and hope to do again.  It depicts the life of Christ with all kinds of art work and just amazing displays that I can't even describe in words.  It was so beautiful and we had a great time.

The Easter bunny spoiled these boys again!!

Aren't they cute?  I got these outfits a while ago, thinking they would be great for Easter.
My boys are getting so big, I can't believe it.  I feel so blessed to have such sweet, beautiful boys!
Here we all are right before church, it was such a great day and one to remember our Saviour and all that He has done for us.

We had a good time dying our eggs this year, we always do!  Family traditions are so fun and we love the time we get together.

Jaren took this very serious!!
He was very proud of the finished product!!!

First T-Ball Game

Kaleb had his first game on wednesday... it was one of the funniest things to watch, all of us parents were busting up!  The kids didn't really know what they were doing, but had fun and entertained us all!

Here's my little man ready to bat.
Coach Jason on first base.
Kaleb got a chance to play catcher for one inning, I thought he looked so cute!
Here the team is all yelling their team name, the A's!!
Nice huh?  Yeah, Kaleb was grabbing himself in most of the pics.  Boys will be boys I guess!

Silly Boys

This is what Jaren does when he thinks you are taking a picture of him, it's so funny.  I don't know which is funnier here though, Jaren's face or Kaleb in the background.  This had Jason and me laughing so hard we had to share!!!

Water Resource Center

We went to the Water Resource Center today- Jason and I actually had our wedding reception here, it brought back memories!  There is a great trail right next to the Columbia River.  We took a nice walk and then stopped by the park there.  It was so fun and such a beautiful day, it was 76 degrees, we had to get out and take advantage!!  We had such a good time enjoying each other and the great day!!!

Sometimes I forget how beautiful it is here in the Northwest, I love it!

Jason managed to set the camera on a bench so that we could all be in the picture!

Jas and Kaleb looking at some ducks

Silly boys- Jaren copies everything Kaleb does, it's so funny.
All my boys, aren't they cute!

All my boys, aren't they cute!

So Jaren has started this new face the last few weeks...this is what he does when you tell him to smile for a picture, isn't that hilarious?

That's my boy!

My sweet boy

They have such a good time together, most of the time!

Conference Weekend

Conference weekend was good and time together that we look forward to.  It's kind of hard to listen with two little boys, but thanks to Aunt Becky they were a little distracted and sat for a bit!  We colored, played bingo and just lounged.

Jaren wanted to wear daddy's tie, so cute!
Here they are coloring together, thanks again Becky, it helped!!

Park

I took the boys to the park a few days ago.  It's been a while since there has been nice weather, so I had to take advantage- even though it was a little cold!  We had a really good time and the boys loved being out in the sun.
