Beach part III

We went to the Newport Aquarium our last day, and had a great time. There was lots to see and do and it was fun for all!

There was lots to touch and explore in this little pool, the boys loved it.

Elliana enjoyed it too!

Watching the seals and sea lions get fed was the best part! This sea lion was amazing and did all sorts of tricks- he was great to watch!!!
One of the flips he did- there is just something amazing about an animal that big doing flips like that.

Pretty cool, huh?

Sharks scare me to death!!!

Beach part II

We always enjoy and look forward to the tide pools. I love finding all the marine life that is left behind to "play" with- the boys love it when I catch a crab or fish to see and touch!!! It was fun as always.

Like daddy, like daughter!!

I absolutely love these pics of Kaleb- he loves to play in the water at the beach and has a blast.
He couldn't be happier.

Beach part I

Well, we finally made it to the beach. We have been trying all summer. It was a last minute trip, and the weather wasn't great the first day, but we had a great time! If I had the choice, I would spend most of my time at the beach, there is just something about it!

Run!!!

Playing in the sand!

We decided to bring Kya for the first time- she loved it!

Isn't she adorable? That wasn't really a question!!!

The boys and Kya running and having a blast! It poured the first day- we were all soaked!!!

And the finished product!!!

Kaleb's first day of school

Kaleb's a big 1st grader now!! It was hard for me again, and yes, there were some tears shed by yours truly! He loves school though, his teacher is wonderful and he is doing so well. Even though it was like 2 months ago, here are some pics of the big day.

Crawling

I have a lot to put on the blog, but I wanted to post this video of Elliana crawling first. She started right at 5 months, just little steps, but now she is full on crawling. I am totally amazed at how fast she is growing- the doctor wasn't kidding when he said she was advanced!!! I am scared that I am going to have an eight month old walker. She is sitting up and even pulling herself up and standing now, which makes for some bumps and bruises already :(. She has to keep up with those two crazy brothers of hers, I guess! I am thoroughly enjoying this little girl though and loving all of it!!!

I know I am way behind on my blog. I have just felt super overwhelmed and behind on life lately. With three kids now, another shift per week at work, Kaleb starting school and some yucky bug in the family, things have been crazy. Jaren had croup that turned into an infection and I ended up with bronchitis after over a week of feeling worse than I have felt in a long, long time- thanks heavens for antibiotics! It's not just that though, I just feel like I am so behind every day and can't keep up. This too shall pass, right? Well, in the mean time, I am just trying to enjoy my three amazing kids, my date night with my hubby and family time together each day to get through this funk. One of these days I can update on all that has happened the last few months, until then, I just take it one day at a time!!!!!
