Snow, Snow, Snow!!!

A few days after Christmas, but hey we got our snow! This makes two years in a row. I love the snow and wish that we could get bunches of it, but I also know that living in Vancouver means that we don't get much. Well, it's fun when we get it and the boys had a blast!

Here are the boys eating snow, yum!

Kaleb making a snow angel- I couldn't get Jaren to lay long enough to get a picture.
Kya loves the snow, she is so funny!
A cute video of Kya and the boys having a good time!

Old Spaghetti Factory

The day after Christmas we went to a movie and then Jason's parents took us all out to eat at The Old Spaghetti Factory, Yummmm! Thanks mom and dad, it was great!

Christmas Day

What a great Christmas Day, the boys had a great time and got more stuff than I know what to do with right now!

Uncle Jason being the designated horse for all the boys- Garrett, Jaren, Kaleb and Owen.
Jaren took a good nap, he was exhausted.
This was actually Christmas Eve, all the boys with their new pajamas on!
Here is Kaleb Christmas morning looking at his new Transformer Santa brought him.
Santa brought Jaren blocks, but he was more excited by the snow globe he got right here.
Jaren's loving Mickey these day, he was so excited.
Kaleb loves to draw, color, cut and anything else artistic right now- we thought this was a perfect gift for him.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas this year with the Poe's. We stayed with Jason's sister and brother in law in Federal Way. It was so nice to be able to be with the whole family for Christmas and enjoy time together- we even had Jason's sister Becky and Garrett from North Carolina with us!

We did a nativity with costumes and all- it was really cute and fun for the kids!
Yes, Jason was the donkey- he played the part well!
Kaleb and Owen were wise men and Jaren was a shepherd!
Goofy boy-and just about the cuttest sheppherd I have ever seen, I might add!
I had to put this in, Kya has decided that my belly makes a great pillow and lays on it most of the time now!
Even Grandpa dressed up, he was a wise man too, of course!!!

Jaren's Stocking

I got Jaren's stocking done last night, I think it came out pretty good. I didn't get to it last year and knew I needed to get it done this Christmas- next year I will be working on little Elliana's!

Market weekend

Market weekend, one of my favorites. We had a great time and enjoyed spending time with family. This tradition has been going on for more than 50 years now, thanks to Grandma Bull- Jason's Great Grandma. It was a little wet but I can't complain too much, last year we were in the middle of a winter storm and it was freezing!

We always meet at the Center House, get some snacks and visit.
I love this picture.
Grandma and the boys.
Here we all are, even Kya.
It's a tradition to take a picture on the pig- Jason and I decided it is time for us to stop and have the boys get on the pig from now on!!!
Where the market all began.
At the Center House.
Jason got me being silly- I really took this for my sister. What do you think Brianne?

Christmas Ships

We were able to have Lis with her boys and Grandpa join us this year for the Christmas ships. We had a great time and afterwards went and saw the light at Peacock Lane. It was so fun and we had a great time having more family with us!!

The boys playing with the trains- they had a great time!

Santa

We took the boys to Pioneer Square to see Santa for the third year in a row. We love going there and it is becoming our little family tradition. The boys did great, Jaren didn't cry this year and Kaleb was good and brave for Jaren. The pictures turned out so great! We absolutely love this Santa and think he is the sweetest Santa ever!!

It took Jaren a while to say anything, but finally he told Santa what he wanted for Christmas.
Kaleb's a pro at this Santa stuff now and just loves to talk with him!
Here they are with Rudolph.
This is one of the original monorail carts that used to run- it's last trip was December of 2005, we just missed it!
I couldn't resist putting last years picture on here- See, I told you Jaren did better this year!!!!!

Gingerbread House

We decided to make a gingerbread house this year for the first time. I had wanted to do this for the past few years but didn't get around to actually getting it. It was so much fun and the boys had a blast decorating it- it tasted pretty good too!!

Jason did the frosting and we let the boys put candy on- we helped a little too.

Jaren thought it was much better to eat than decorate!!

Here it is finished- it didn't last long, right after we took the picture the little people in front were all gone, yum!

Oh Christmas Tree

Another favorite tradition- getting the Christmas tree. It was cold, but nice and sunny and clear- what more could you ask for? We found the perfect tree, bigger than we have gotten in the past. It was great and we all had fun!!!

We thought this was the tree we were going to get, but at the last minute we found another one. So this one isn't actually the one we ended up getting- we just forgot to get another picture there, oh well.
We couldn't pass this shot up- the moon was gorgeous when we left.

The boys did a great job helping with the ornaments, I think it looks great!

Bunk Beds

We did it, we got the boys bunk beds. We wanted to make sure we did it early enough to let the boys adjust to the new arrangement. They love it and we are just that much closer to being ready for our little girl.

Even Kya has found herself a new bed- she used to sleep with Kaleb, but she can't get up there so she sleeps with Jaren now.
