New Floor

We finally did it, put in new floor down stairs. I should say Jason did, he did all the work and it looks great! We have been wanting to do this for a long time and now it is done. There are still a few things like the baseboards and a little tile work by the fire place, but other than that, the main part is all finished. We love it and also love the color it brings into our house.

The kitchen and dining area with no floor at all, not something I want to ever do again- being almost 9 months prego, this was a little unsettling!!!

Birthday Boy

We have been pretty busy the last little bit- getting ready for the baby, putting in new flooring downstairs, Kaleb's baseball and just plain old life. My little man turned 6 Feb. 28th- his real Birthday is Feb. 29th but that's not for another 2 years. We had a family party on his day and then a friend party with about nine 5-6 year olds and Jaren just this last Thirsday. Man, was that a loud and crazy hour and a half!!! It was fun though and Kaleb had a blast, that's all that matters. I can't believe my little man is already 6, where has the time gone? He is such a good boy and I can't imagine life without him!! Here are some pics of his parties.

Here is the bike we got for him, no training wheels- we'll see how that goes! It was heart breaking though when Jaren went and looked behind the corner from where Jas brought Kaleb's bike and wanted to know where his was, he didn't understand at all.
