Christmas Time!!

Christmas is our favorite time of year!!  It is so fun to continue family traditions with our little ones.  Here are some of our favorites-

Jaren wasn't impressed with Santa, as you can see!  Kaleb loved him though.

Here we are getting our Christmas tree- fun fun!

We always have a great time decorating the tree

Another tradition we enjoy is looking at the Christmas ships, it's cold, but worth it!!

My three favorite guys!!

Me and my boys.

Visit from the Blake's

We were able to have Sam, Melissa and their son Owen visit us for a few days.  Sam has been interviewing for Residency which brought them here.  It was a lot of fun and we were able to just hang out and go to the park one day, even spend Sam's birthday with them.  It was great!

Trick or Treat

It was a fun Halloween, the weather was great and we have more candy than we can handle, yeah!!  Kaleb was Iron Man and Jaren was a spider.  Kaleb had a blast loading his bucket, Jaren wasn't quite sure what to think of everyone in costumes, but he loved being dressed up.  We went to our church building and did the Trunk or Treat, and then Jason took Kaleb out around our neighborhood for some more fun.  It was great!!!

Daddy and the boys at the Trunk or Treat- Jason joined the spirit with a nice mow-hawk for the night!
We got to see my family at the Trunk or Treat.  Here is Kaleb with my brother Holden and my sister Merritt.  Holden was "Joe the Plumber" and Merritt was Tinkerbell.
Isn't that the cutest little spider you have ever seen!!
There's our big strong Iron Man, cool.

Pumpkin Carving

Cheese ball!!!
Jaren had a good time poking the pumpkins with a pen and coloring on the news paper, isn't he cute!!
Our finished products- cool!
Kaleb hates getting dirty, kind of my fault, but he didn't like putting his hand in the pumpkin gunk at all- like the face?
Jaren helping Daddy with the pumpkin, he didn't mind getting dirty at all!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to Buzi Farms pumpkin patch and had a great time.  It's one of our favorite things to do all year and we look forward to it.  There is so much to do and the boys loved it- so did mommy and daddy.  Here are some of the highlights.....
The boys climbing through the hay stack.

Here's the pumpkin launch, we did pretty good.

Boys will be boys- he didn't really eat it!!
Daddy and Kaleb cleaning the pumpkins.

Kaleb loved this goat.
The boys had a blast in the hay maze.
We went for a ride in the tractor to get our pumpkins, it was fun.

Jaren with his pumpkin, so cute.

Here we are in the corn maze, we got lost but had a good time!!

Jaren's first tractor.

Our house

Just a little bit about us- Jason and I have been married for eight years now, and have two beautiful boys.  Kaleb is four and Jaren is 16 months, they are such a joy in our lives and we can't imagine life any better.  We have lived in Vancouver now for six years and just bought our first house- we feel so blessed.  Here are a few pics that we had done a few months ago that we love-

Kinda silly- this is how we really are!!!
isn't he handsome!!!
too cute

Beach Trip

We decided to take a spur of the moment trip to the beach a week ago.  We stayed two nights at the Nordic, right on the beach and had a blast.  The boys had a great time, Jaren had never been and he loved it, especially throwing sand everywhere!  The weather was actually really nice for us- We saw a couple whales and a bunch of sea lions right from our room!  We love the beach and can't wait to go again!!!

Jaren's first experience with sand, he was a little unsure at first, but not for long.  By the end of the first day he was laying, throwing and even eating the sand!!

Kaleb had a blast finding all kinds of things on the beach- he was very proud of this crab claw!
