Beach

We went to the beach, again- this time just Jason and I!!  The boys were home, thanks again Grandma and Aunt Mary!!!  We had such a great time together, it was time alone that we needed.  It's been two years since we went away just the two of us.  We spent two nights at the Nordic in Lincoln City, right on the beach.  The weather couldn't have been better- we wore our swim suits one day and the sand was actually hot on our bare feet- for those of you that know the Oregon Coast know how rare that really is.  We spent time on the beach every day, went swimming, explored the tide pools, did some shopping and ate at some amazing restaurants.  We had such a blast and really enjoyed time together.  We are going to make sure that we don't let it go another two years before we do this again.  Even though we both missed the boys and were ready to see them again, it was so good to have this time alone- Thanks Jas for an amazing time together, I love you!!

Isn't this beautiful, Jason took this from our room- I think I might frame it!
We built a camp fire and roasted marshmallows our first night, very romantic!  It was so much fun- we just sat, talked and enjoyed each others company- We were out there for a few hours just talking, it was great!
A little lovin!!
One of the many things we found in the tide pools
Jason took this right before I got hit with a big wave- can you believe how clear the sky is, not even a cloud.

Happy Birthday Jaren

My baby turned two last Tuesday, I guess he isn't much of a baby anymore- where has the time gone?  We had a good day, we took the boys to a movie and had a party with the fam.  It was fun and I think Jaren enjoyed his special day!

Here he is opening his first present, he got the hang of it real quick
aah, so cute- he loves Elmo
We are all singing to him, he thought that was great and loved blowing out the candles
Merritt, Kaleb and Jaren playing together
My two cute boys, Jaren only ate the frosting off the cupcake and then he was done.

Sick baby

My sweet Jaren got pretty sick about a week ago.  It started Friday morning when Jason found throw up all over his crib before he left for work, about 5:30 in the morning.  For about the next 4 hours he threw up about 10 more times, it was horrible- I felt so bad for him as his poor little body was convulsing over and over again.  When he was still throwing up Sunday night, my dad came over to help Jas give him a blessing.  Thank heavens it stopped and he is all good now.  It is so hard to watch  your child hurt so bad and not be able to fix it, especially when they look at you like they don't understand why you can't make the pain go away!!  I am grateful for the Priesthood blessing that he got, and that I have a husband and a father that hold that power.

He was so tired one morning that he fell asleep on my bedroom floor- I let him stay there since he hadn't really been sleeping well.
Sick and still happy- it's amazing how resilient these little ones are- man, if I were as sick as him, I don't think I would be this happy!

Closing Ceremonies

This is the last post on T-ball for at least a year.  We had closing ceremonies, we couldn't attend all of it, but we got to be there for the coaches game and our team awards- it was fun.  We will miss it, but are glad that we have an open schedule again for a while.

Here's Jason up to bat at the coaches game, he did really good and his team won- he even hit a home run, good job hun!!
Here is Kaleb getting his medal and giving his coaches high fives!
He earned this, he did so good and has improved to much!

He hit 3 for 3 this game, awesome- he has really improved since he started, it has been really fun to watch!
Here he is on home plate ready to tag the other team player out
Jaren got a little bored at the game, he was ready to go- I thought it was funny!
Kya decided she wanted to sit with Jaren- he loved it, as you can see!!
The boys watching TV together, very cute!

Happy 30th Jas

For Jason's 30th Birthday I decided that he needed a surprise party!  It was a success thanks to all our friends- especially Becca, Dereck and Talia- thanks guys!  We had to set up a fake blow-out for Jaren so that we could get home from the T-ball game before Jason, without looking suspicious.  Talia and I hurried home while Dereck made a side trip because the game got over faster than normal, of course!!!  Well, everyone made it to our house before the boys got back from the game- we had Dereck and Talia with Elayna, Bryce and Becca with their boys, Mark, Jay and Steph.  Jason was very surprised when he walked in, it was great.  My family came over later as well, so we had a full house.

I got a lemon meringue pie, Jason's favorite, and Becca made these amazing cupcakes- thanks Beck!!

My brother Jordan wrestling with the boys, they love it- that's what are uncles for!!
